GENERAL DIVE SITE INFO
Molokini is a small islet formed by an extinct volcano lying 3 miles off the south Maui coastline. Molokini consists of several dive sites all around the islet ranging from anchor dives to drift dives. Molokini is both a state seabird and marine sanctuary. You are not allow to catch any fish, dispose of any waste products or remove anything from Molokini. Molokini is among the best diving in hawaii considering it's visibility, location offshore, being part of a marine proteced area and being inside the Whale Sanctuary. Molokini has seen visits from Whale Sharks, Oceanic White Tip Reef Sharks, Manta Rays, Tiger Sharks, and more. Molokini is a great place to see whales during your trip on the surface and if you are lucky underwater. Overall Molokini is an exciting place to dive.
