Brad and Blesie: Thank you again for such a great dive vacation. Your reputation is greatly deserved. I dove with you every day for 10 days and never had anything worse than a “WOW, what a great dive”. Lots of variety in sites, more species per dive than any place else I've been diving, and an awesome crew. My thanks to Dave, Rae, Bill, Brad, Stan, and the rest of the crew who make these great dives happen. Also, a special thanks to Dave for being the world's best critter spotter. If you're into photography, diving with Dave is awesome. He goes slow and can spot the best camouflaged fish or the tiniest nudibranch. I came away with a far greater variety of photos than I expected. You guys rock !!!

It makes almost 10 years that we ( my husband and I) come and dive to Maui. Living in Geneva Switzerland it takes us 24 for hours to fly from Geneva to Frankfurt, then to San Francisco and finally Maui. But after this long trip we are so warmly welcomed by Brad, Blesi, Stan, David and Doug and of course captain Rae. Almost nothing keeps us from getting up at 5 o'clock to be at the harbour at 5.45. It is hard when the alarm clock rings, but the diving is so amazing. It is also so professional. We get to see a lot of animals and on the boat we talk about what we saw. Rae has a whole collection of books where we go through to find more informations. Myself and Daniel( my husband) my daughter Evelyne and her husband, my son Cyril and his girl friend have been all trained at B&B Scuba and got their advanced or open water Padi. My son liked it so much that he continued and got his divemaster. The language is not a problem, the instructors are so skilled that even with little English you can get certified and enjoy your divings. Congratulations to this fun and professional crew. Hi Brad and Blesi, Once again, you guys made our vacation a memorable one. The weather didn't cooperate most days but we got to the crater acouple of times and the shores dives were great. Dave was a fantastic divemaster, and his Jedi-Mind trick with the turtles was a crack up. Won't forget him wearing a turtle like a hat... Thanks again and look forward to diving again with you in the future...

We hope to do it again soon, but may need to wait until 2011. Our use of one of your underwater cameras inspired us to purchase a camera and housing for ourselves so we can always have a visual record of the beautiful things we see under the seas. You guys rock! I have been diving on Maui since 1984, with just about every operator that runs from Kihei or Lahaina....and you guys are the best! My partner Ann was recently certified and you took her out on her first open water boat dives....ok, so she got cold, but thoroughly enjoyed herself. Yes, Bill, you warned us to put her in a 5mm suit....Brad, Bill, Stan, Dave and Blesi, you are all pros, personable, knowledgable, and downright fun to hang with. Ann and I will be back to dive with you in September! Hang loose! (didn't take any pics while diving, so here's a couple of me during my OTHER pastime...)

B&B Scuba Maui has become our preferred dive shop of choice whenever we visit Maui for its spectacular diving...and we come at least twice per year for an extended stay all the way from Canada. Not only they have the best gear rental prices, year after year, and offer amazing excursions, customer service is what always brings us back. Blesi is probably the sweetest lady ever and always greets you with a huge smile. Even our little son remembers her as the lady with the big smile...and a friendly pooch at her side. We just got back from spending a week on Maui and a week on the Big Island. On Maui we dove with B&B Scuba. Brad and Blessy, owners of the shop, were both gracious and informative.

I have been out with a fair number of shops over the years and I can honestly say that I have never had a better experience in regards to personal care and attention. Brad was always looking out for everyone on his boat, at all times and making sure everyone was attended to and their every need met. He really went out of his way for everyone on the boat.

He led our group on the Molokini Crater Dive which is certainly a "must do" if you are ever in Maui. We saw many firsts for us on this our first Hawaii dive. We saw White Tip Reef Sharks, Undulated Eels, Gray sharks and coral that you just don't see in the Atlantic. We also experienced some of the things we have seen before like garden eels and all the little tropical fish, though they were different colors and different species.

Between dives we were followed by wild dolphins, another first for us. Though the snorkelers ran the dolphins off before we could get in the water with them.

The second dive we went to a wreck called the St Anthony and got some good shots of Green Sea Turtles. I will get some pictures posted when I get a chance.

Brad also set us up with tanks and weights for shore diving and made everything really easy by setting us up with a "tab" so that we didn't have to worry about paying till we left.

A south swell kept us from doing a lot of shore diving though we did dive two sites. Makena Landing and Ulua Beach

The Maui reefs were nice but they do not encircle the island like you are used to if you have been to Bonaire or even the Big Island. The reefs are small and scattered usually near to and hugging the shoreline near outcrops of lava rock. Get a guide to show you around, it will be well worth your time and money.

My family completed our Open Water Certification with B&B Scuba. Wow they were awesome. Stan, Dave and all the rest really made it a wonderfull and enjoyable experience. I will dive with them anytime. they made us feel very comfortable and at the sametime kept us having fun and being safe!! Brad and Blessi should be proud!

Thanks to all for another highly enjoyable set of dives. My daughter, Alison, was totally comfortable with Brad on her introductory dives. I think we have yet another diver in the family!

Thanks so much for the incredible hospitality that you showed to our family. We had 2 great dives at Molokini and South Maui on Memorial Day. Our 3 kids will never forget these first dives after being certified and your individual attention to our family. We are grateful that you voluntarily took the time to take our 14 year old boy on an orientation dive, an incredible experience for him. Also, thanks for the photo DVD that you created to store our memories. We look forward to diving with you again and will highly recommend you to other divers that visit Maui. Mahalo.

Thank you so much for an awesome two weeks of diving!! We had some fantastic dives and saw lots and lots of critters. My favorite was the octopus that hitched a ride on Nancy's tank! No wait, it must have been the White Tipped Reef Sharks at Molokini! No wait, maybe it was the Giant Manta Ray... too many great memories to choose!

You did a great job making our family's vacation our best ever, and Brad and Stan did a fantastic job as instructors for Blake, our 12 year old. He's pretty excited about becoming a new Open Water Diver!! Loved Diver Dave's sense of humor and highly attentive service too!

It's kind of sad to be home, but we'll be back next year! Until then, much aloha,

What a great experience for first timers! My boys (2 sons & husband) had a blast. I even had a good time, even though I couldn't quite get myself to go under. The guys on the boat couldn't have been any nicer. The boat was great, the equipment was nice and the ccokies were fantastic. Thanks to Brad, Stan, Bill & David. The dive was one of the high points of our trip.

Kudos to B&B. I arranged to get my OW certification through them this past week and had an absolutely great experience. Brad is a character. He has a very quick wit and enjoys picking on everyone on the boat. However, the tone becomes extremely serious when he begins bis predive brief. We did an intro to scuba dive followed with our skills dives. The weather on Maui was horrible, with a North wind at about 40 mph. This prevented us from going to the Molokini crater, so we had OW plans for some boat dives closer to the shoreline. The other divers, wussies, cancelled due to the weather so we shore dove. When I competed my OW I had been in open water for 6 dives. I had great instructors. One great feature of this group is Brad planned this course based on my time schedule. I told him when I wanted to dive and he made it happen. Originally, there were two of us in the class, however the other student cancelled after the first dive. So my second OW dive I received instruction from both Brad and an instructor in training. Skills took no time at all since I did not have to wait for any other students. This left us ample time to concentrate on buoyancy and looking at marine life. During my OW dives, I was time limited only by my lack of gas management skills. We dove every dive to the safe limits of our air. I was fortunate enough to be able to buddy with the instructor in tgraining for several of my additional dives.

What a great experience I had! When the weather began to break, I had already signed up for a night dive. Hoping that we would go to Molokini the next morning, I asked to be added to the boat. No problem. The next morning we were the first dive boat to Molokini. Brad asked if I wanted to join his advanced class for a deep dive. The confidence and reassurance of having Brad near me made it an easy decision. Great dive to 98', however the gigantic yellow margin eel was the highlight of the dive.

If you are new to diving, they are wonderful. Compassionate, understanding, thorough and extremely competent. They are very low pressure regarding equipment. I had a mask failure early in the class and they fixed it once, then I broke the buckle. They had a great deal on a mask, just pay the B&B state tax of $50. and the mask is free. They loaned me a mask until I was able to get to the store to buy one.

Many thanks to Brad, Blesi, and the entire staff at B&B, what a fantastic experience! B&B came highly recommended on the online dive forums, and I can see why. They made everyone on the boat feel welcome and well cared for.
Safety is a number one priority at B&B, whether you're a beginner or not. This is not just a bus out to the reef and back like some I've been on. I plan on coming back, and will suggest them to others!

Thanks again for making the certification dives so easy and fun.

Brad wanted to know how it went in Australia.

We went on a Fantasea charter to Hardy Reef off the Whitsundays, from Shute Harbour, Queensland. We got in one reef drive and one drift dive. The day was overcast and somewhat dull. There were large grouper and wrasse, as well as an abundance of fantastically shaped coral.

Unfortunately, the second day was a wash out due to stormy conditions.

On the other hand, there were no "steelies" available, but, Brad, you will be pleased to know that my air held out as long as everyone else's anyway. The equipment I bought from you was also a treat to wear and superior to what was available on the boat.

See you in Maui next year.

My wife and I had a wonderful time diving with B&B. The divemasters were friendly, helpful, and truly concerned about making sure we participated in high-quality diving. Our dives were never rushed, and we were given as much time as we could handle under water. The staff did an excellent job guiding us and highlighting critters (big and small). Finally, the divemasters really seemed to care about their divers; taking the time to explain dives so that we were relaxed and ready to enjoy the experience.

We spent lots of time trying to find the best dive operation on the island. Next time we come back, picking our operator will be the easiest part of the trip. Thanks B&B for the great diving.

Aloha!! I have been diving with B and B scuba for well over 7 years now since i was a junior. My family are from united kingdom and we seem to always come back to Maui Hawaii to find ourselves diving yet again with only Brad, Blessi, and the Crew. They have fantastic people skills, and seem to always find the best dive sites. I will be out there again soon to be doing more of what i love and to be surrounded by the Crew.

B&B Scuba is awesome. My husband and I went to Maui for our honeymoon in May 2006. We dove with B&B two days and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff made us feel comfortable and welcome, like one of the group. And to top it off, chocolate chip cookies and sandwiches after the dive! Fabulous. If we ever go to Maui again, we will dive with B&B again - hands down.
